James Bulluck, son of Shirley Bulluck, is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national championship for Rocky Mountain College Battlin’ Bear Men’s Basketball team. <br />

On Tuesday, March 24th the Rocky Mountain College Battlin’ Bears won the 2009 NAIA Men’s Basketball National Championship.  It was the first NAIA championship of its kind in the long, proud history of Rocky Mountain College athletics (Rocky’s men’s ski racing team won the 2005 and 2007 USCSA National Championship.)<br />

James Bulluck, a 6-5 senior from Billings, Montana, is a member of that team.  James is a 2005 graduate of Billings Skyview High School.  James transferred to Rocky this season after spending last season at Regis University in Denver and the previous two seasons at Sheridan College in Wyoming.  James started all 36 games he appeared in this season and averaged 11.4 points and 4.2 rebounds along the way.  He also led the Bears in 3-point field goal percentage (39%).

James Bulluck, son of Shirley Bulluck, is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national championship for Rocky Mountain College Battlin’ Bear Men’s Basketball team.

On Tuesday, March 24th the Rocky Mountain College Battlin’ Bears won the 2009 NAIA Men’s Basketball National Championship. It was the first NAIA championship of its kind in the long, proud history of Rocky Mountain College athletics (Rocky’s men’s ski racing team won the 2005 and 2007 USCSA National Championship.)

Chase Sukut, a 6-1 senior from Billings, Montana, is a member of that team.  Chase is a 2004 graduate of Billings West High School.  Chase transferred to Rocky in the spring of 2007 from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.  Before enrolling at UWGB, Chase spent two seasons at Sheridan College in Wyoming.  A two year starter for the Battlin’ Bears, Chase finished the season second on the team with 16.2 points per game and led Rocky in both 3-point field goals made (85) and free throw percentage (82%).  At the conclusion of the national tournament, Chase was named to the All-Tournament team for his performance.

Jordan Strecker, a 5-10 sophomore from Big Horn, Montana, is a member of that team.  A 2007 graduate of Custer High School, Jordan split time this season between Rocky’s Junior Varsity and Varsity programs.  He appeared in 8 games on the varsity squad this season.
