Bio Ethics (4.17.08)
Back from a prestigious conference on bioethics where they presented papers alongside students from Wellesley and Harvard, among other major universities, two Rocky Mountain College students presented their work Thursday, April 17, 2008, at 3:30 p.m. in the Selover Room of the Bair Family Center.
Karissa Hughes, a junior, and Brea Tinnes, a freshman, formed a student panel on bioethics, hosted by RMC Academic Vice President Anthony Piltz.
They presented at the 11th Annual national Undergraduate Bioethics Conference at Union College.
Ms. Hughes’ paper is titled, “Body Snatchers: The Unethical Use and Trafficking of Cadvavers and Human Body Parts.” Ms. Tinnes’ paper is titled “Ethical Issues Concerning Stanley Milgram’s Obedienc to Authority Study.”
